Superintendent

Gary is an operational police officer currently at the rank of Superintendent who has served as a Constable, Sergeant, Inspector and Chief Inspector in both uniform and CID branches of the service.

Gary passed the NIE, OSPRE Sergeant and Inspector Part 1 process in the top 1% in the country.

Gary's main area of expertise is within the field of criminal investigation where he has gained a vast amount of experience as the officer in the case for protracted and complex investigations, including homicide and serious sexual assaults.

Gary is an accredited Senior Investigating Officer (SIO) with experience of leading major crime investigations and also in writing force policies and procedure within the public protection arena.

Gary was the All Wales lead on Safeguarding Children during his time within public protection and has been responsible for introducing a number of initiatives during his time within the Information and Intelligence Directorate.

He is currently a BCU Commander in Dyfed Powys Police.
