Our easy to carry A5 textbooks aid study on the move - it is the only text you need to pass the exam. They present the law in a detailed yet easy to understand format.

Legal definitions are broken down into flow diagrams and explanations are presented in a bullet point format. We include easy to learn acronyms, and supply checklists / summary tables to pull together whole chapters of information to facilitate your understanding of the syllabus.

Our books also contain thousands of exam trip ups - we don't just tell you what the law is - we explain how the examiner will try to catch you out.

We recommend using the textbooks in conjunction with the blended e-learning package for best results – read – view videos – test.

The textbooks can alternatively be used in conjunction with just the free standing multiple choice question package and a 2 day course.

Online Blended E-learning

Our unique blended e-learning package combines text guidance, 50 hours of video lectures (the equivalent of 8 days of face to face teaching) and over 2600 multiple choice questions to provide an all-encompassing learning experience.

Content can be accessed 24 hours a day via PC, Tablet or Smartphone for the duration of your licence period. Our experts will be on hand at the click of a button to explain everything you need to know to pass the examination and you can test understanding as you progress.

The syllabus is broken down into manageable bite sized chunks to ease learning. Each module is allocated an individual playlist of e-learning material which divides the subject matter into its individual headings. Candidates work through each heading in turn – firstly gaining an understanding of the subject matter via a combination of text guidance and video lectures, followed by a series of multiple choice questions on that specific heading to test their understanding. Candidates receive graded performance feedback as well as detailed debriefs in respect of each question attempted flagging up examination trip ups.

The playlists for each module also contain more in depth past paper statistical data on assessment trends than is available in our free study guidance materials – giving you a more detailed insight on the likely composition of your examination.

Candidates will also have the opportunity to design their own multiple choice question tests that can be configured on individual modules, whole areas of the syllabus or the entire syllabus and candidates can set the number of questions they attempt under timed conditions.

5 Day Revision Crammer Courses

The same subject matter is delivered live by our tutors via webinars.

We will be delivering the course via 5-morning webinar sessions that will take place in the run-up to the NPPF legal exam.

Each webinar session will run between the hours of 9.00am - 2.00pm.

The high intensity course will cram several week’s revisions into 5 intensive days of study.

OUR TEACHING TEAM

Courses are delivered by operational Superintendents, Detective Chief Inspectors who have passed the exam themselves in the top 1% nationally. The course is also delivered by a Senior University Law Lecturer who is an expert in Evidence and Procedure – the area that consistently causes officers the most problems on exam day.

We expect candidates to have already conducted the knowledge gathering and self-testing phase of their revision prior to attending the course.

We recommend purchasing our revision crammer textbooks and our blended e-learning package containing video lectures and multiple-choice questions to achieve this objective.

The crammer courses are live time and are not recorded for on-demand usage.

Multiple Choice Questions

We also supply a free standing multiple choice questions package without the associated video lecture and text learning material (see above). Candidates will have the opportunity to design their own multiple choice question tests from a database of over 2600 questions that can be configured on individual modules, whole areas of the syllabus or the entire syllabus and candidates can set the number of questions they attempt under timed conditions. The question database can be accessed via a PC, Tablet or Smartphone for the duration of your licence period.

Candidates purchasing this product are recommended to also purchase our textbooks to gain an understanding of the subject matter prior to attempting the questions.
